Technopol itself has a strong history and a respected tradition in the defense industry that dates back to the year 1970. By forming this joint venture, MDI Group sought to bring that heritage into the modern era, combining decades of expertise with a fresh and innovative approach to product development and global expansion.
In 2023, the company took an important step forward by acquiring Toolsquare. This acquisition was strategically motivated to further strengthen manpower, know-how, and production capacities. With Toolsquare’s specialized experience in manufacturing and injection moulding, MDI Group significantly enhanced its ability to deliver large-scale and complex production demands. This expansion allowed the company not only to grow its portfolio but also to respond more efficiently to the increasing needs of our international customers.
To solidify its position on the global market, MDI Group established a subsidiary company named MDI Slovakia. The main purpose of this subsidiary is to directly address and fulfill the growing demands of the military and law enforcement sectors all around the globe. By creating a dedicated entity, MDI Group ensures flexibility, responsiveness, and a stronger presence in international markets, all while upholding the high standards of quality and reliability that define our brand.
