Protection Performance
The Level IV ballistic plates provide stand-alone protection against the following threats:
- 30.06 APM2 (880 m/s ± 9.1 m/s, 1 shot)
- 7.62 × 54 R API B32 (854 m/s ± 10 m/s, 1 shot)
- 7.62 × 51 AP P80 (830 m/s ± 10 m/s, 3 shots)
Certified by an authorized testing laboratory in accordance with ČSN 39 5360 ballistic resistance Class TBO 7 CZ, equivalent to NIJ 0101.06 Level IV, these plates guarantee maximum reliability in life-threatening conditions.
Design Options
MDI’s Level IV plates are available in several configurations to meet diverse operational needs:
- Single Curve Men – SAPI cut, available in L (250 × 300 × 25 mm, 3 kg) and XL (280 × 360 × 25 mm, 4.1 kg)
- Multi Curve Men – SAPI cut, available in L and XL with identical specifications
- Multi Curve Women – Female-specific plate cut, size L (250 × 300 × 25 mm, 3 kg)
- Side Plates – Single curve, available in L (150 × 150 × 25 mm, 1 kg) and XL (150 × 200 × 25 mm, 1.25 kg)
